Heroes such as E.T.C., Diablo, Kael'thas, and other roaming Heroes are fantastic at creating space for the Vikings to soak and forcing the enemy team to soak lanes while objectives are ongoing.ĭuring the game, you should not be pushing out lanes, as it prevents the Vikings from getting soak safely. Heroes that can rotate and gank well are key with this Hero. There are even abilities that only work when all three are. There are a lot of misconceptions about playing with a Vikings on your team, and you should generally have a plan while you are drafting. The Lost Vikings are three characters that make up one hero, and you can use them together as a group if youd like. Watching the mini-map is a habit you will have to learn if you want to become a great Vikings player. If your team controls the Watchtower between the mid and bot lanes, you can spot any gank if you are watching the mini-map, and avoid dying. A good example of this is on Blackheart's Bay. The mini-map is your best friend as a Vikings player! It allows you to move each Viking out of harm before the attacker even comes. This is a wonderful tool that I use to quickly get any Viking out of harms way when it is being attacked. If you double tap any of the "Select Vikings" keys (1, 2, 3 keys) It will quickly move your camera to this Viking. Luckily, the talent tree sports many options for a new Vikings player, allowing them to worry more about keeping each individual Viking alive and soaking, rather than worrying about using their abilities.īefore we dive into the Talent build, here are some quick tips for Vikings.
